The resin was that Demo verins are not allowed. I was not playing the demo.

At 3:30 i flick shich to the Railcanion on acdint.

At 10:41 I shich to a Sawgun. I think you can not get this in the demo.

At 18:26 I use the grappel arm.

At 23:54... i'm just gonna let it explan itself.

At 30:31 i use my Sawgun and Railcanion,

At 31:09 I pull out the Shotgun.

Your right. It should not have been rejected for playing on the demo version. It should have been rejected for being a slow run. We do not accept joke runs or runs with needless challenges that are not apart of the category submitting to (particularly when they bloat the length of the run). Sorry about that.

its also because you put the patch wrong when submitting (1.05 is a very old patch, EA 4/27/23 is current)

As the person who rejected this run, as soon as I see a run pop up with the version set to anything from the demo, I immediately reject it. I don’t even bother watching it. Why? Because in no world does somebody ever “accidentally” submit under the demo version.

That being said, looking at the rejected run’s details should have indicated that something was wrong, and if it truly bothered you, you would resubmit it with the correct details, and it would be written off as an error and promptly verified, likely within a week or so.

In this case, even if you had resubmitted under the correct patch, it would have still been rejected for being an “intentional slowrun”. It’s ok to be slow at speedrunning, and not a world record holder. It is NOT ok to dawdle around the level aimlessly as you would in a casual playthrough. That is not a speedrun, that is a playthrough. Feel free to upload that wherever you see fit, but understand that it has no place on a competitive board.

P.S. next time you wish to dispute a run’s ban reason, either resubmit it, and put in the description why the moderator may have been wrong, or message one of the moderators on discord.
