Hey everyone, dropping this post today to reminisce a little about this game and its speedrun.com page. UCN has its ups and downs, but for what it is - it's a really good game and definitely gave me and many other people some great memories. To keep up with its legacy, this leaderboard is constantly being taken care of and impoved upon to this day, with a very active community still in place! This year being especially great, thanks to your presence and our moderation team, where the board now looks better than ever :)

The team and I still have many ideas on how we can improve everything in the future, and today we want to announce one of those changes with the inclusion of Nightmare Chica, Plushtrap and Bonnet in the Individual Jumpscares level. It's probably a bit more difficult than the rest of the categories, but if UCN was ever about something - it's definitely the challenge it presents! Get your runs going, and we'll be there to review them :)

I would like to announce many new updates to the UCN leaderboards that were made

Rule Specification: Particularly for All Jumpscares, the rules were messy and not worded properly to understand in the eyes of a new runner so I organized the rules and made everything more clear. For the Game rules, I made some details specific such as not using cheats from the console/mobile version or using a modded version of UCN too since I have seen submissions in the past trying to use these.

Steam and UWP Versions Split: Since 2023, runners have been using the UWP version aka the Microsoft Store version to get World Records since the UWP version has significantly faster loads than the Steam version. This has made the PC speedruns unfair towards people who do not want to waste $8 USD on a different version of UCN so I decided to split the two versions into PC (Steam) and PC (UWP). I tried fishing out every run on the Steam version to the UWP but if you see a UWP run I missed, please message me.

95% Removal: Before the removal of this category, 95% only had 2 runs on the leaderboards and you can do a 100% run during a 95% run. It was removed since having this category was a waste of space and you can do 100% instead.

Twitch Links: Due to the upcoming Twitch update where Twitch only allows everyone to have 100 hours of highlights on their channel, I have decided to ban any runs from Twitch.

Runs with Audio: In 2023, there was a change that all runs in the Top 10 require audio, but this rule is being changed again to where every future submission will require Game Audio. This is because in All Jumspcares, it is very difficult to verify a run with some BB or JJ scenarios I have seen.

Individual Jumpscares ILs: I have added an Individual jumpscares category on the levels tab for every jumpscares that kills you. The goal is to get jumpscared by whatever animatronic you choose as fast as possible. Death Coin Description Removal: In 2023, a rule was made that you have to put in the description when you death coin a character. This became redundant quickly so I decided to remove this rule.
