#Summary In short, to get an older version of a steam game than the one you currently have on your machine you will have to leverage the DepotDownloader application. This application goes out and gets the version of your choice by running the application via command line and passing it the appropriate parameters. This command looks like such:

dotnet DepotDownloader.dll -app 1328350 -depot 1328351 -manifest 7343262894729822337 -username imawakka

NOTE: The above command has the correct AppId, DepotId, and manifest number to get you the last version of Turbo Overkill with all the current skips in top runs. You just need pass your own steam username. You will need to authenticate your user.

SteamDB: https://steamdb.info/ SteamDB is a website that contains the information you will be required to have in order to use DepotDownloader and get the specified version of your choice.

.Net: https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download You may need to download the latest version of .Net to run DepotDownloader and the commands required to run DepotDownloader.

#Steps

1. Download DepotDownloader
2. Get game information from SteamDB(I have already provided the parameters you need above)
3. Run Command to run DepotDownloader and download game files(If you get an error running the command try installing .Net 6 SDK and try again).
4. Speedrun!

This video tutorial got me 95% there to obtaining an old version of the game and I HIGHLY recommend that you watch it(It's only 4 minutes long). This video uses a batch file to run the command required to kick off DepotDownloader which resulted in me getting errors. I resolved my errors and found it much easier to just run the command via powershell. To do this all you need to do is hold SHIFT and then right click in the directory where you put DepotDownloader and then select "Open Powershell window here". After that you just need to paste in and run the command in powershell.
