The first tab on this spreadsheet titled "Calculator" can be used to determine if you have enough materials for Din's Shop. The sheet is protected but the cells for the calculator inputs can be modified by anyone. Feel free to make a copy of the spreadsheet to make other modifications for personal use.

You want 30+ in SWORD, 28+ in SPEAR, and 28+ in BOW. Do not exceed 59 (shouldn't ever happen).

**To use the calculator:**

Edit F3:F10 with the material count from your grind, and the values for each weapon will be updated in column H. The desert materials should be used in JP runs only due to the closeness of that search point to the Zao Ruins; ENG runs should use the search point by Engeve.

ENG runs can just focus on getting 1 charcoal and 29 giant fish bones (GFB). JP runs have a wider variety of ways to get the needed materials so the calculator may be more useful.

More notes on Din's Shop:

- How many pulls you get from a search point before depleting it depends on party luck. You want high luck for better grinds.
- Rarer materials deplete the search point faster.
- If you save before fully depleting a search point, NO MATTER HOW CLOSE IT WAS TO DEPLETION, and then re-load, it will "reset" to its default state so you can continue the grind without having to exit and re-enter the overworld.
- 1 charcoal is necessary to unlock level 3 weapons.
- Meeting the threshold for 3 different weapon types is necessary to unlock level 3 weapons.
- There's a chance if you turn in all 29 GFB and 1 charcoal to Din's shop in ENG runs you lose your run to getting an Anise doll and gels instead of the weapons you wanted.
