Hi, I would like to attempt 2 Player, but I want to do 1 player on KB 1 Player on Controller. It's just a better way to do it. Would this be allowed?

I would suggest adding a leaderboard variable for control types.

Variable name: Control Type Values: Keyboard, Controller, Both

In single player runs, the user can submit whichever they used.

In coop runs, the runners can submit Keyboard for 2p1K, Controller for 2P1C (lol?) and Both for one player keyboard, one player controller.

All control types would appear on the leaderboard, they wouldn't be separated out. But site users could use the filters if they want to compare control types.

honestly I don't think you can do keyboard and controller, it's a single player game as far as I know. If I'm wrong let me know and I'll change it, but I think it's 1 control device at a time.

Good rule of thumb for new categories is just do it on video and then ask for the category after.

I have already done a run with it that way. I have also played the game with both using my foot to control movement and typing. It's 100% possible. I would personally remove all specifications, honestly. Trying to use purely controller is so much slower than typing other than picking where you're going, so it's not really worth separating the two. There's entire VoDs for the 2P though, I just didn't want to pointlessly submit.

just reread your comment. do you want a 1 player 2 controller category? if you have a run or interest in submitting that since you said you did it before, I'll make that as well. won't change the main category to allow that since I don't want to force people to play the game with their feet since it would probably be faster if you can have both hands on the keyboard the entire time.

that would be a really good meme category that is also a serious category at the same time tbh.

Also I just changed it to co-op with no restrictions on control methods. 2p 1 keyboard, 1 controller 1 keyboard, 2p1c (please dont') it doesn't matter

Awesome, I think the 2 Player Category will be nice to have. It 100% can be faster if you can move with the controller with your feet and play with both hands on the keyboard, but it's really not easy to do at all. (Trust me, It's almost impractical once you get through half of the bosses, honestly) but I get wanting it to be apart from the All Bosses. I still personally think All Bosses shouldn't require you to use a keyboard, but require you to use only one input method. Maybe All Bosses, All Bosses Multi, and 2 Player? Not sure about naming but I can see that making sense.

The control methods are different enough to warrant new categories tbh and if the jankest one is the fastest, I dont want to force people to play it to get the best time.
