Good day! I don't know if I'll ever speedrun this game, but I have a question regarding making the game work at all. I found an ISO of the game's PC version and successfully installed the game, then restarted the PC because the installation program asked for it, then mounted the ISO again (required to launch the game), but... when I try to start the game via desktop shortcut or the AUTORUN file, with or without Compatibility mode, I always get the same thing: arrow cursor changes to disk, then back, and that's it, the game doesn't launch. There aren't any error messages. I don't see the game in the Task Manager either. When I check the folder where the files are installed, I don't see anything wrong... My OS is Windows 10 64-bit. When I was a kid, I played the game on Windows XP.

Hold on... PC version isn't listed here? :( Also I briefly looked at the game on the consoles, and it seems to have a bit more content, animations and VFX than the PC version does...

I also played the PC version as a kid on a Windows XP machine and tried the same thing recently on a Windows 10 64 bit but yeah I install it all nice but on launch nothing happens.

If we got PC working then it could be added to boards when someone does a run however I think we’d make it a seperate category as the PC version has worse graphics and I think the scaling of the levels might be different they may take longer or shorter to complete. Xbox and PS2 are identical apart from loads.

I mean I’m not a mod but I’ve spoke to FingerQuick and I think once I finally finish learning this game and finish my routing series then I’d maybe get mod to help out and also spruce up the board.

PC has a bunch of changes, including no bonus levels, no first boss and a lot of glitches.

Be cool if you got the game to work though @Stinkek, just gotta seperate Console and PC on the boards as sub-categories

Sadly I still don't know how to get the game to work, I didn't find any information.

If there was something like a file modified by a fan that replaces one of the game's files (or several), I would've tried that. That's how I got to play another game released the same year, also for consoles and PC.

You can try and emulate PS2 or I’m afraid you’ll have to buy real hardware and the game. Besides I think the console run is and will always be more competitive.

Just been warned that PS2 emulation has glitched out on the attic level for one runner in the past.

Update on my situation: I got the game from another source suggested by a friend, and I launched it without any issues, I didn't even need Admin rights or compatibility! Works as good as I remember!
