Capturing from actual hardware?

In his video, Grumpmeister mentions he has a setup for capturing video from the actual Game Gear. I was wondering if he has shared anywhere what that setup is. I recently bought a Game Gear to be able to play games on amd while I hve experience capturing video from VCRs, I have no idea where to begin on the Game Gear as there are no obvious video outputs. Thank you in advance.

Right, so, this does require a mod. I believe there are 2 different solutions out there, but I've had my Game Gear modded with a McWill LCD + VGA mod (like this one: https://8bitmods.com/game-gear-mcwill-led-lcd/).

This basically gives my Game Gear a VGA port, which will replicate what I have going on at my screen. So from there, I have a VGA + Aux cable that runs from my Game Gear to my OSSC, and from there's it's smooth sailing :D

Thank you so much! I'll have to save up for it but hopefully I'll be submitting a run... sometime this year.
