Does anyone have a consistent way of getting up on the ledge I'm looking at here http://imgur.com/aTDZna8 ? This is just outside of the puzzle with the star in A7. Okayden jumped up on that ledge in his WR run, twice in a row. I've made it up once in 200+ tries

There was an update recently that broke that jump. It is of course, still possible, but it is now extremely hard. I think we now to have to revert to older strats for that level. You should be able to find it among the older runs.

Did this update broke the <weathertop> rock climbing also? Any alternative strats for that level? The best I've got is stacking two boxes in front of the star fence, but it's somewhat inconsistent...

Yeah, it also broke that section for me as well. You can use a single box to climb the tree directly across from the blue laser source, and then jump on the wall from there in about 15 seconds though.

Thanks frogtown, and I've tried it but it's hard... when I try to put a box under me on the tree, I just go directly through the box and get stuck between tree and wall and box! You seem to do it so quickly in that video without any setups...

A lot of the tricks are impossible for me on certain video settings, I think the physics are some how related to your FPS or something like that. Maybe it's a similar issue for you? I had to screw around for a couple hours in the settings before I could get the paint bucket skip in B to work

Yes, I lot of thing in the Talos Principle are dependent on FPS. This glitch is actually easier to do with a lower FPS.
