just wanted to make a post here to archive a glitch i found recently, but since this appears to be empty, i figured i'd make a short list of all relevant stuff for the any% current patch route for posterity

triple jump: simply wall jump off of the corner of a block by turning around as you walk off of one! this will give you the wall jump while resetting your double jump from touching the floor, effectively giving you a third jump. only application in any% current route is to gain a small amount of momentum when moving vertically upwards.

horizontal bell clip: when you load into the game, there's a short period of time where you can go through walls. if you hold right or left while touching a wall and a bell at the same time, then quit to menu and reload, you'll pass right through the wall. this doesn't have an "official" name afaik, so i'm gonna call it a "bell clip" since you'll need a bell to meet the requisite conditions. used to skip half of ice palace.

vertical bell clip: same thing as the horizontal bell clip, except the setup is a bit tricky and requires the double jump. just stand a couple of pixels away from the bell, then jump and push in the direction of the bell as your head hits the ceiling. your player character should now be touching the ceiling and the bell at the same time. when you reload, push up with the proper timing to clip through the wall. used to skip the swimming/steelskin powerups and the hollow king's lair.

infinite jumps (not to be confused with IJG from the original win the game, although it also works in this one): basically, when you travel horizontally from one screen to another, the game creates a "checkpoint" at the vertical loading zone while preserving your position onscreen. this isn't a checkpoint you respawn at if you die, but if you quit to menu and reload, you will! when you do reload back here, it will preserve your height AND reset your double jump. this means you can use your new double jump to move higher up the loading zone, reload, and repeat, until you get as high as you want! used to skip the 6 hearts and the hollow king's lair.

the superjump: so uhhh i don't know how this works... all i know is that it does. the setup for this is to be OOB, and next to a wall. make sure you consistently get the same distance away from the wall by using a vertical loading zone below it. you'll have the same vector every time, which means that if you wait until you stop accelerating laterally to jump up next to the wall, you'll consistently be the same distance from it. that consistent distance part is super important, since the next part of the trick involves jumping once, then double jumping and pushing towards the wall at the perfect time... and keep in mind that all that's WHILE YOU'RE OFFSCREEN! you'll have to base your timing purely off your internal metronome, so consistently being the same distance from the wall is required to make this possible.

so to put it as simply as possible:

  1. while OOB, reload from a vertical loading zone below a wall, and press NOTHING until the moment you lose your horizontal momentum.
  2. jump once you lose your horizontal momentum. you should now be offscreen, standing on the ceiling of the room.
  3. do not move left or right. jump, and double jump/hold right at the same time at any point in the jump for different results.
  4. you should see the screen transition vertically as your character teleports randomly, and then gets a HUGE boost of vertical momentum. WARNING: if you give yourself too much momentum here, you'll go flying to a coordinate so high the game crashes. be careful!

the super jump's only application atm is to skip the hollow king's lair entirely. the timing to get enough height for this skip is kind of tricky. i just try to visualize pushing jump/right as the player character gets to the arc of its jump. it seems anything short of that makes you clip through the ceiling of the next room (???) and anything more makes you go flying so high the game crashes. it's kinda hard to explain, but after aimlessly doing it for a little while i sort of committed the timing to muscle memory. just give it a shot! this allows us to also skip the swimming powerup, lava powerup, hollow king's lair, and the sequence where the hollow king's heart is restored; a big time saver!

this weird glitch is required instead of a normal OOB because this level wraps horizontally. if you try to walk over the ceiling with a normal OOB, you'll just pass the trigger to load the left end of the level. the only way to bypass this is to walk on the ceiling of the level without ever actually getting the game to load the level itself. that's where the super jump comes in! the sudden burst of momentum allows us to get on top of the hollow king's lair without loading any of the screens inside. if you check your minimap after successfully doing the skip, you'll notice that you're walking on a white boundary line without any rooms actually being loaded.

and those are all of the glitches and tricks relevant in any% current route atm! these are far from the only glitches in super win the game, and the game seems glitchy enough that there has to be more to find... perhaps a way of clipping through walls on the overworld? or a way of bypassing the checks on locked doors? we'll have to see what weird stuff people (hopefully) find in this game going forward! thanks for reading my guide, and gl!
