All Coils% - Skipping Checkpoints

In All Coils%, skipping checkpoints (meaning, not touching them) is a viable strategy. Why? Well, when you get a Coil from a bonus stage, the game sends you back to the last checkpoint you touched, not necessarily the checkpoint that the bonus stage was located in. This means that if you skip some checkpoints before you get the Coil, you'll get sent back further after obtaining the Coil and won't have to backtrack as much, which saves a lot of time.

Of course, the drawback to doing this is that if you mess up and die, you'll have to redo a lot more, and resetting intentionally to gain more HP/Elevator Coil boost will not be an option, which can potentially cut off a few skips. You also don't want to skip checkpoints if you have to get two Coils on the current path, because then you have to redo more to get to the second Coil, which wastes time. 

Overall, skipping checkpoints can be a very useful tool in All Coils%, but just use it carefully!

Backdash Skip (Challenger 21)

Just A simple Elevator coil skip on challengers 21.

Challenger 12 "Save for later" skip

(NOTE: As far as I know, this skip can only be done with Tavo.)
The build-up for this skip is at stage 11, where you must avoid damage boosting to reach the transport orb more quickly, saving your HP for later.

As shown in the video, the skip can be almost 4 seconds faster than the damage boost skip in stage 11. I believe it can be done faster if no mistakes are made here.

CMD Skip Refined (Challlenger 15-17 blox coils)

Uses saved Blood Coil Charge from challenger 15 to overlaunch on 16 straight into 17. I did it badly here, but if done right, you won't need to use elevator coil.

Crazy Path Optimizations

The first optimization I found was in stage 17. If you have played the stage, you will know that the standard route is to use both star orbs in order to have enough launch power to cross all the gaps. However, this causes a slight slowdown in the progression in the stage due to a velocity orb. In this optimization you can skip the second star orb entirely and make the stage go slightly quicker. Another optimization I located was in stage 22. Similar to the optimization on stage 17, this movement speeds up the pace of the stage by decreasing the amount of orbs you have to use. Have a look.

How To Complete Challenger Path Coils CMD Skip

Once you reach stage 16, hit the white star orb. Once you do that, quickly head for the green jump orb and pull out your bootleg diamond coil. that will launch you high in the air, high enough to get to the platform if you keep doing a long charge. Stage 4 Water Skip

This skip uses a quirk in Super Check Point's damage physics.

It's not very challenging to perform, but make sure you have 3 hp at least in the bank, even though it's possible to be done with a health loss of 1 rather than 2. This is entirely dependent on RNG, though, as far as I'm aware. This skip also must be done in a certain fashion. Follow what I do in the example video provided to be able to do this shortcut seamlessly.

Stage 9 CS./CR. "Buddy Skip"

This one abuses the damage boost bounce height physics.

Instead of having to go all the way around stage 9, you can just damage boost up the lava block located near checkpoint 9 to skip part of it, by doing a unique pattern on the lava. You'll just have to see for yourself.

A skip which requires bootleg nugget coil and elevator coil. Can be used with Adventurer Or Challenger Path. Stage: 6
