Hey, I'm getting things set up to run the game on PCSX2 1.6 and I'm having a few issues. Just wondering what settings I should use. Thanks!

Here are the settings I'm using:

Config > Video (GS) > Plugin Settings...

"Advanced Settings and Hacks" menu (becomes an option after ticking "Enable HW Hacks"):

Config > Emulation Settings:

(Set "Preset" near the bottom left to its default "Safe" option)

Thanks! Do you use the NTSC version or PAL by the way? I'm using NTSC currently but, the intro FMVs are flashing and once exiting the "press start" splash-screen before the main menu, the screen goes entirely black.

I use the NTSC version. The FMVs flashing, if I remember rightly, are a result of running the game with the hardware renderer - luckily that doesn't matter for speedruns. As for the screen going completely black after exiting the "press start" slash screen, I'm honestly not sure how to fix that since I've never had that problem before. I guess if I can think of why that might happen, I could maybe suggest a solution here? In the meantime, hopefully you manage to find a solution.

Turns out I had some game fixes on for another game I used to run on pcsx2 1.6, turned them off and its working now. Thanks for the help setting everything up!
