## Which version is the fastest?

In short, for Time Trial use GCN USA or EU. For Full Game use GCN EU or PS2 USA

Potion Factory Exterior is fastest on GCN EU. Dragon's Lair is fastest on PS2 USA

### What differences does each version have?

GCN [USA] Is the best for smoothness and input lag since it is 60fps and is on Gamecube

GCN   [EU] 50fps so more input lag and less smooth BUT on the track 'Potion Factory Exterior' a checkpoint trigger extends more forwards, which makes the faster version of wallclimb possible.

PS2  [USA] 60fps but PS2 has massive amount of input lag which makes this version almost the worst version to play BUT has an exclusive shortcut in Dragon's Lair (called Ghostwall) which saves a minute+ compared to Gamecube versions which makes this the fastest version of all the versions.

PS2    [EU] Inferior to PS2 USA version in every way. 50fps, input lag and Dragon's lair shortcut doesn't work.

PSP   [any] 50/60fps and good input lag however most tricks are near impossible due to incorrect scaling when the game was ported to PSP. Has it's own slower version of Ghostwall. The physics feel 'off' and driving through walls is easier. Heavily undiscovered version.

### What character should you use?

Donkey. highest jump height and ability to chain jumps for more height, best turning, average acceleration and highest floating which reduces friction and helps keep momentum. Some tricks like DC Ultra shortcut and MP Sign Jump are way harder.
