Definitions of glitches

- FFLC (False Floor-Level Change), a glitch involving running up against a piece of level geometry to change your floor level
- PMAI (Pause Menu Animation Interruption), which is when the player reads an item description in the pause menu during certain other animations and scenarios. This includes ANC (Animation No-Clip Glitch), which is any usage of PMAI which results in Finn gaining a no-clip state where he cannot interact with doorway transitions; CNC (Carry No-Clip), a similar glitch done on bushes and vases which sometimes results in a similar no-clip state where Finn can interact with doorway transitions, though CNC can also result in something similar to an FFLC as opposed to true no-clip; ATS (Animation Text Skip), whereby PMAI is used to skip text in cutscenes or entire cutscenes; and Extended Knockback, where PMAI is used to gain extra knockback from damage. It is worth noting that PMAI is impossible in the PSVita and 3DS versions of the game.
- "Zombie Finn", a glitch in which you have zero hearts but the game otherwise behaves normally
- "Ghost Finn", a glitch in which you take fatal damage as Jake, move while the death cutscene is playing, cause text to appear, remove the text, heal to positive health, then rejoin with Finn, making Finn invisible and able to walk through collision
- Double Equip, a glitch whereby a singular item is assigned to both hotkeys (example: B and Y on an Xbox controller)
- Item Duplication, a glitch where an item is bound to the same button/key as the "cancel" input, causing it to be used when exiting the menu without consuming it
- Vase Timer Carry, and by extension, Vase Timer Boost, glitches utilizing the vase shop's timer outside of the vase shop itself
- Vase Shop Warp, which occurs when the vase timer runs out while outside the vase shop
- Meat Glitch, which allows the player to interact with transitions normally not interactable while in the ANC state
- All Overflows, which are done by using the ANC technique on dialogue with choices
