Overview

The object of the game is to get all 5 magic crystals. To do this, you have to breed 5 level 5 horses, one of each type. The types are Unicorn, Pegasus, Ice Steed, Fire Steed and Demon Steed. When you start the game, you can buy a level 1 horse in any of the breeds. You can then train the horse up in the Corral, and send it out on races at the Gate to get more money. You can then use this to buy more horses, and then breed the horses.

Breeding

Breeding works as such, two fully trained horses who haven't bred before can breed together. If you breed these horses and have an extra slot in the barn, you'll get a new horse. The new horse is one level higher than the lowest level parent. I.E. two level 2 horses will net you a level 3, but a level 1 and level 3 horse will only net you a level 2.

The type of horse you get is determined by priority, for the most part. In general the priority goes like this: Unicorn > Pegasus > Ice Steed > Fire Steed > Demon Steed In which if you breed a level 1 Fire Steed and a level 1 Pegasus, you will always get a level 2 Pegasus. After level 1, however, it gets a bit more complex. The type of horse you get is determined randomly from the grandparents of the horse. For example if you have a Fire Steed whose parents were a Fire Steed and a Demon Steed, and a Pegasus whose parents were a Pegasus and a Demon Steed, there is a still a chance the new horse could be a Demon Steed.

So that's the general idea of the game, and if that was it the game would take upwards of 20 hours to complete. Luckily, there are some things we can do to speed that up.

Money Glitch

Whenever you get money in the game, a counter gets added next to your total money and gradually counts the money into your total. However, if you save before you get this money, and then load up your save when the counter appears, you will go back to your previous save and the money will still get added to your total. The most practical use of this is saving, selling a horse, and then loading up your save. This will get you the money and you get to keep the horse. You can repeat this process for as long as you want for as much money as you need.

Breeding Glitch

If you play the game properly, to get one fully trained level 5 horse you need to fully train a total of 31 horses. Therefore, to beat the game you need to fully train a total of 155 horses, minimum. Thankfully, there's a way around this. In the stable, if a horse is unable to breed due to not being fully trained, there is no heart next to their name. If they can breed, there is one heart, and if they have bred before, there are two hearts. Now, if you have two horses in your stable that can breed, and you click on the heart, the name of the other horse will appear. At this point, press left or right to select another horse, and the horse names should still be available to select. This way, you can breed a horse that can breed, with a horse that can't. This cuts down the amount of breeding by a considerable amount.

This glitch is also useful for the late game. Level 5 horses can't breed at all in the game, however, using this glitch, they can. If you breed a level 5 horse with any other level horse, the offspring will always be at level 5, negating most of the breeding in the game! This means that instead of the 155 horses needed to beat the game, you can do it with less than 20.
