I was looking into different things in LiveSplit for the Any% run and when I go in "Edit Splits..." I see "Autosplitting and Auto Start is available (FCEUX 2.2.3)" but when I activate it and check the settings for the autosplitting nothing happen when I'm in game. I made sure to download the 2.2.3 version like it's written but it just won't start the split. So is there anything to do with that?

"Start Enable" is not a default setting, you may have to go to the layout/scriptable auto splitter tab and check the box.
Do your settings look like this: https://imgur.com/a/Ktn2FmA ? In "Script Path", does the smb3.asl file exist at that path? Are you running a (generally) unmodified rom, like PRG 0, and not a practice rom? FWIW FCEUX 2.2.3 on windows 10 just worked for me (without running as admin).
