Why would this console be banned if you can’t even TAS on it. Is it because, of the whole homebrew thing?
why not split the n64/emu/vc runs into separated parts just like the full game runs?
@dumpdome64 I don't see how you're "not completely sure" about what i'm trying to say! I suggested to split runs played on Nintendo 64,Wii virtual console and emulator so that nobody can have an advantage of lag frames. (unless you manipulate the game's camera)
then why, full game runs leaderboards are like this? by the way,i edited the comment because that other part i said, was kinda not understandable!
VC is a legitimate release of the game, no records on it are "fake". They can't be compared to N64 records, though
I have Wii VC and like Dumpdome and lostontheinternet said, we should split consoles for the category, so, can I do something about this like, talking about it with a mod?
My bad. Of course you all made lots of valid arguments on page 1 - think I framed this page 2 too much in the light of the later pages in the 10x singlestar thread, and focused too hard on only the last few nessages.
- The SM64 vanilla speedrun community is, and has been for a long time, regarding N64 above the other ways of playing SM64, which is why it is currently the only version represented on the IL board
- Adding separate subcategories for VC and Emulator would take up space in each IL category
- There are speedrunners who want to be part of the speedrun-submitting community while running the normal categories, who have a way of playing SM64 that is not on N64
I mean what’s so bad about filling up the IL space?
I know, but still, won't a few people still cheat in full game runs on emu and vc and not take it seriously as well?
If you wish to replace your twitch highlights with reuploads, please edit your already verified run rather than deleting the verified run and making a new submission. This makes it a lot easier for us to track which submissions are reuploads and should be less work on your part as well.
