Hey guys,

I've been trying to do the ''No A button challenge'', and I was wondering how many stars you guys were able to obtain from a fresh new save file. I have like several questions out of curiosity for this challenge:

1. Is it actually possible to get through BiDW without TAS?
2. Can you clone objects without relying on TAS? I was so close to get the 100 coin star without the A press as I was just one coin short. How does it work exactly?
3. How many stars are possible without pressing A by a human? I feel so many of them are TAS only.

Since the goal of the challenge is to minimize A presses before time, speedrun.com is not useful for tracking records of it.

so far i have done 16 stars but it took me 4 a presses to be bitdw

They are: Big Bob-Omb on the Summit or whatever its called, Race with Koopa the Slow, Blast Away the Wall (With Glitches.), Shoot Into the Wild Blue, CCM Slide Star, Lil Penguin Lost, BEEG Penguin Race, In the Talons of the Fat Bird, Shining Atop the Pyramid, Boil the Big Bully, Bully the Bullies, The Rolling Log Star, and MIPS. Oh yeah, I managed to get the sub-21 slide star and the wing cap red coins.

i forgot to mention some of them but you get the idea.
