Load Removal Guide for both Console and PC
Aggiornato 2 years ago di IE-Kevin

Hey there runners I want to first thank @FluffyCobra for their hard work in setting up the load removal and autosplitter for both PC and Consoles.

https://github.com/JmBergamoJ/LiveSplit.SifuLoadRemover

To setup the load removal on both PC and console do the following

  1. Install the load removal into components of the livesplit folder

  2. Start up livesplit update the load removal if needed

  3. Change to game time by right clicking the livesplit application and comparing against game time

  4. Go to edit layout, add a control and click on sifu load removal

  5. Click on the sifu load removal

  6. (The tricky part) You must now try and get the "Actual Capture Preview" with the text "LOADING" on a blackground (without the little dot being in that preview as it won't pause perfectly if it is)

(Recommended to watch to see how the "Actual Capture Preview should be like) Video tutorial:

The Autosplitter is also based on the loads it is by default set to split when 2 loads have been done (so it is important to get pefect pauses to ensure that the autosplitter works if you wish to use it)

on console do the following: If you have no capture card we recommend using remote play https://remoteplay.dl.playstation.net/remoteplay/lang/en/ to get a screen capture into a PC/Laptop for the load removal to work, it is entirely free to download

To get 0 input delay when using remote play do the following

Make a 2nd PS4/PS5 account and set it as primary, set up remote play login to that account, login with remote play on your PC

Proceed to turn on a controller paired to your PS4/PS5 login to your normal profile the controller will now be directly connected to your PS4/PS5.

The end result is that the 2nd account will be used for remote play screen on your pc/laptop while the controller is using the 1st account for the PS4/PS5 directly removing input delay entirely.

Have fun running.
