As long as there is no speeding up of the game, emulators are widely accepted.

Also, I just happened to be routing this two days ago and did my first runs yesterday. I can't believe someone else is doing this run at the same time! That's incredible!

Yeah Im cool with emu, hopefully load times are similar though.
