And you're saying you reset the game completely?

Pretty sure it is due to syncing online or something. It happens to me when I am connected to the internet. If I am playing on airplane mode it doesn't happen.

I found out that if might have happened if you close the game after getting an item and then came back(Assuming you deleted the data) the items you had previously bought will come back as equip.Also if you change time on your phone, the in-game timer does not work.
