If you let Tony run and strafe, he will dodge incoming bullets the majority of the time and will be able to fire back at all angles. This will easily build up your balls meter and you only need to use it if you are low on health or you're completely surrounded. Also, don't waste your time taunting if loads of enemies are around you, just strafe and run!
