I'm trying to learn the skip for Tails' Ice Key but I can't find any decent tutorials, I can get the skip but not nearly consistent enough to use it in a run. Can someone please give me some advice on how to do this more consistently?

You more or less need to feel for it, try a run up at the wall and hold right on your L-Stick and it should clip you through. You'll find the clip and consistency over time :)
