Seifer card "Hate Seed" is banned from Roguebook single pair any% speed runs. The reasoning for the ban is as follows:

1. Speed. Runs with Hate Seed are more than 30% faster (based on ~200 runs) than runs without it. This difference is so significant, it prevents any other strategy ever reaching the top. Being an epic rarity, it also promotes re-rolling until you get the start with a Hate Seed.
2. Play style. Winning with Hate Seed is the least skill demanding strategy in the whole game. You play it and you pass the turns. Not even a character death prevents this from working. This goes against the idea of skillfully drafting and piloting the best deck possible from the given circumstances. Combining these points we have decided to ban Hate Seed from single pair runs. This way we believe the competition stays healthy and interesting. We keep watching Hate Seed in other categories and adjust the ban if it becomes problematic in other categories as well.
