I've just found out about an impossible mode, And I was wondering should it be added to the speedruns?
As Max had said before, there are ways to rotate your screen, taking out the challenge of the mode itself... by these means, it would not make sense to add this as people would just run this as they would with the normal game itself.
Well, there’s no way of knowing if they cheated because they can rotate their screen during editing.
I might vote for adding some of the modes that are in printlessC, and particularly the ones that present some kind of new challenge, and can't be exploited. Ragequit mode is kinda pointless when you can have a zero death run that would make no difference to the run, but Glitchy is a good suggestion purely because it kinda tests your memory of where those platforms that disappear are.
I agree with this idea better than adding impossible because it adds more variety to runs. Modes like darkness mode and relentless mode would be good too.
I honestly think there should be impossible mode on the list but yeah with the people manipulating the screen it could definitely a problem. But the thing is there is hardly anyone on there and we could make a rule (Stream Only) because we would have viewers on the stream (i'f you have a fan base) and you could also say they could use Mirror mode as disguise but the thing is they don't have the same physics so it would also not make sense. you could also say they could buy a privet server on speed run 4 but for a record? also another thing is if you do a normal speed run 4 and rotated it in the editing software it will be way to sketchy on how fast they are going. If its added it could be really hard for the moderators to check them.
Not just with level switching, but also with the addition of new levels (among other things)!! The old "All Levels" category has been archived, and now there are categories for 30 levels and All Levels (now that there are 45 levels in the game).
