I'm looking for a new split keybind and was wondering what everyone else uses.

i use q to split since it is right next to w and i can put my finger right on it instead of using my other hand which goes on my mouse

lemme add onto this for a bit, i use the "global keybinds" option cause i can't find a way to split while running, but it's pretty annoying having your binds go off when your typing or something, is there a way to turn off global keybinds while still being able to split normally?

Just join an sr4 server, open LiveSplit, add the component (-> Edit Layout -> Control -> Focused Hotkeys) and choose whatever the game's process name is from the list. By using this you can type in your browser, Discord, etc. without accidentally starting/resetting your splits (typing in roblox chat will still trigger your hotkeys for obvious reasons).

i split with q and reset with left control

you guys are weird

i use left control to split and numpad 5 to reset the timer

numberpad 0 to split gang because I never asked what might have been good splits pog end to reset because I feel it makes sense

i didnt know other people actually use q for splits

ive started using q for splitting and it feels much better tbh

I use left shift to split and q/e to move forward or back a skip. I also have r for reset

I use left shift for splits, and mouse 4-7 to go forward, backwards, or to end the run timer.

To split, I use a mouse button and i recommend you do the same. I have a button right where my thumb rests on my mouse, so I just give that a tap and i'm good. Much better and easier than using a key and i dont have to move my hand at all. My mouse is the Corsair Nightsword RGB.
