I would like to learn how to time frame by frame, so I can make videos with more accurate time in the title, and possibly become moderator in the future. The way I'm currently doing it is by skipping frame by frame on youtube until I reach a whole second. Then I count the seconds the run takes, and then I count frame by frame during the last second. Then I use a calculator to convert the frames to seconds. Is this the right way to do it? And should I go frame by frame until a whole second in the start or until the frame before? And should I go frame by frame from the whole second at the end or should I go from the frame before or after?
It's very simple. Download SPRT. It's a speed running retiming tool. Right click your video and then press stats for nerds. In the row: "Current / Optimal Res" you can see the video FPS after a @ (most times it's 30) for start frame and end frame, just go over your video with <> to find the start and end frame of your run. Right click your video and press copy debug info and then paste it inside SPRT. Once you filled in all these bars, the exact time of your run should show.
