As @Massive already knows, ping affects your time so I propose we time runs by when a player hits the checkpoint either visually or regardless of walking animation. Either way, with the current rules, ping is affecting my time way more than @Massive 's time which is unfair.

yes they are, but having it visually can make people miss out on a wr because their legs weren't extended
