Beyond unbelievable. You turned this into your personal friend society instead of a speed running community. Cyberdemon didn't destroy anything. You did. Your behavior caused this. All this in-grouping you're trying to do in this VERY thread, all the sad jokes, all of it is just repugnant. You want the speed running community to be more like reddit where the mods have arbitrary and unparalleled power? The ability to ban runners from the leader boards? Sure thing dude. Someone else's behavior is more detrimental to the community than that.
I stumbled on this community because of the drama. I am glad you won't be part of it. Never played an RE game in my life, but the speedruns were fun to watch. I saw someone practice the mine cart skip over a year ago and just assumed that it was in the WR because, why wouldn't it be?

You didn't do it alone. You did it with your friends. You put your personal life over the good of the community AND the actual work which goes into speedrunning and over you've been doing it so long that you don't even notice it.
People who don't run the game turn into people who DO run the game if they like the experience enough. Maybe you should petition for a change in the site's rules so that people who don't have top 10 runs in Mario 64 can't post. Is this bait? Are you really that insular? Maybe ask the mods to lock every single thread and keep it only for the people who you want in the community.
