There's been an important development in the discord in the general tab. Please check!
Orchlon and myself have been doing an investigation on mouse efficiency with stairskates/quickturns. If you want to know if your mouse is good or bad, check discord for info.
Orch made a program through ChatGPT that measures how long your right click on your mouse is held down in milliseconds which, depending on your mouse, can vary. I've made a spreadsheet for people to add their results. Instructions on how to test are simple but read the disclaimer.
We've 'sort of' known about the fact that it's hardware related and not just about execution but we never tested how much of an impact it has. For example, Orch found out that with his mouse vs. mine in Hunk, best case scenario he's losing 0.8 to me and worst case scenario he's losing 2.4 seconds, which is significant. Imagine a run as long as LAS 120? How much could people be losing over time?
I thought I would make a forum so we have the option of talking about it here and to expose as many people as possible to it. It would be nice to give people a real chance to see which mice are advantageous and which ones aren't.
