General information for newbies

*Headshot as much as possible

*Bosses have an invisible stat that determines how many shots will be necessary to damage them. Think poise from dark souls. Shotguns, molotovs and headshots break this very quickly.

*Upon using deadeye it reloads your gun. Use this to skip any reloading animations. Using deadeye the intended way is extremely slow.

*There are many Health and deadeye upgrades that can be used to make runs more consistent.

*Health upgrades

Talk to Curly in Rogue Valley, Bathtub girls in saloon fight upstairs, Katie in the mines cell, Talk to Jack after killing Perry in Brimstone

*Deadeye upgrades

Talk to the paper boy after killing Mr. Black, Sold in the Saloon while at Brimstone

*Health Pickups are collectable by shooting them.

*Knife Glitch explanation

To perform knife glitch simply draw your knife, then swing the knife 2 or 3 times and while swinging let go of the knife and pull backwards on the analog stick and mash melee to get backwards momentum. I usually mash melee and let go during mashing. This momentum can go in any backwards direction and is used to clip through various walls in the run.

Now I'll explain my strats for every level in order.

*Bullseye

You can jump over the fence and hit an invisible wall. Simply melee attack to clip through to the training area. During the raid just try to headshot as often as possible.

*Bounty Hunter

Headshot everyone lol

*Ugly Streetfight

Headshot everyone.

*Railroaded

You can avoid damage from the wooden beams by either jumping backwards through them or crouching as you come into contact with them. During the 3 minute section you can glitch the engineer up against a train car by taking cover behind him to push him forward and then melee attacking him up onto the coal. Push him against the train car and all enemies will simply do nothing for the 3 minutes.

*Carnival Life

Kill enemies as fast as you can and then for pig Josh you'll want to hide behind the house before he spawns. Try to land as many headshots as you can and then run up to the Boulder he spawns next to and run him around it until he looks for you again. Rinse and repeat. He's killable in 2 cycles but 3 is decent. You can also just get on top of the house and cheese him if you struggle with this method. However it is much slower.

*Rogue Valley

Bring Dynamite for this level. To start when jumping up the first few platforms kill the sniper straight ahead. He can do a lot of damage.

Then make your way to a section where a boulder guy walks out from behind a rock, kill him and move up to the next boulder guy. Kill him as well and jump off of the platform next to where the second boulder guy spawns. You will wrong warp to the area just before the showdown.

You can side roll into the wooden platform to enter the load bubble for the showdown. After the showdown you can go left and get a shop to buy a Health upgrade. I always do. Then proceed to Bessie.

Once in the Bessie fight I advise you kill the boulder thrower at the beginning. For Bessie herself have 2 options. Once her initial poise is broken you can chain shots and melee attacks to stun lock her to death.

Or you can avoid her whip and she will enter a daised state in which you can headshot her for good damage. She will attempt to hide but then you can use your Dynamite to blow her out from cover and shotgun her to death. I usually use method 2 as a backup if method 1 fails. Also in NG+ use molotovs instead.

*Freak Show

Just headshot Slade to death and I deadeye the fire guy. I kill clowns to build deadeye.

For Perry he will teleport 4 times every cycle. If you don't damage him enough or if you look at him as he spawns on his cycle he will start another cycle and you will lose the cycle. I headshot him as much as I can and use deadeye as needed if he's being difficult.

After every cutscene you should avoid looking at him until his health has finished replenishing. Then start attacking. If done correctly you should have a 4 cycle Perry. I recommend practicing this a lot. Remember to kill clowns if low on deadeye. His teleporting also builds your deadeye.

*Ghost Town

Shotgun rain everyone. Pretty simple. You can hide in the building at the end to pile up everyone for consistent kills. Doing this however may result in guys getting left behind in the town. Also the big guy in the barn drops Health.

For Mr. Black shoot him immediately to damage him. He is vulnerable after every time he uses his gattling gun. Shoot him as he's flipping out of it. I reccomend the twin Revolvers for extra bullets. If done correctly you'll have a 3 cycle Black. In NG+ you can interrupt his gattling gun with molotovs.

*Range War

Honestly just play well, headshot everyone you can. For the bosses kill the bison looking guy first as he is the one who calls the stampede attack. Avoid getting hogtied by shooting to interrupt it.

*Saloon Fight

This is the first usage of the knife glitch and its probably the most difficult usage of it. You'll want to clip through the door straight ahead of your spawn. Line up with the door to your left and hold down left and you'll be in this weird out of bounds room. From here there's a door that leads into the void.

You'll notice guns outside in the void. Line up straight to the door post and knife glitch in a curved line from top to right to down in a quick succession to obtain the guns. It takes some practice. Now glitch back into the main area and complete it with your newly obtained guns. Don't forget to get the Health upgrade from the girls in the bath.

For Sam you'll wanna just lower his health as much as you can so he jumps down. You can melee the table to flip them and get extra uses out of them when Sam charges. Once out of table use a wall or the stage but optimally you won't need to. The girls on the stage drop health and beware of the molotov guy above.

*The Traitor

Man this level is cursed. You'll just have to memorize enemy spawns and pray that rng is on your side. Take out the cannons though and use Diegos deadeye to reload but watch where you shoot his flares.

*Sunset Canyon

There's a rock you can use to jump straight up and get to the horse. It's in front of you as you spawn. Just Shotgun spam the stagecoach.

*Bear Mountain

To perform the bera mountain skip using knife glitch you'll want to line up as straight as you can to the long behind you and melee up the little slope while holding down as your direction. Honestly I recommend watching a run because it can be difficult. Once up jump across the tree and out of bounds then head up to Grizzlies area and drop down into the fight.

Watch out for the little bush as your walking up. If you walk past it you'll fall into the void so jump around past it to the right.

For Grizzly just shoot him as often as you can to break poise and then proceed to just kill him as he allows you to. It's pretty random.

*Jailbreak

After the first area go right and wake up the guard by hitting him with a knife. You need to do this to avoid a cutscene. Cross the bridge and get the guards key and enter the room with Katie in the cell. Knife Glitch in and out with all the keys and proceed to the showdown room. Boss is straightforward, just Shotgun them.

*For stagecoach and hells pass just play them. You can't speed these up as of now.

*Fort Diego

Kill the guy up on the ledge and walk towards the camera when you drop down. Knife Glitch through the bottom right wall to get back out to where you spawned. The head over to a door underneath the gattling gunner and glitch through it. You'll get a health pickup. Go up the stairs and yet again jump into the area you spawned in. This seems pointless but you're actually sequence breaking the game.

Kill enemies to spawn Daren and shotgun spam him. There's these 2 green guys that are sometimes invulnerable. Just ignore them and find other enemies if this happens. I reccomend watching a video for this level as well.

*End of the Line

It's a straightforward level honestly but for Diego you can either throw Dynamite into his window and skip his phase 1 or knife glitch into his traincar and shotgun him to enter phase 2. Both are pretty fast and tbh I'm not sure which is faster.

*For the battle Royale its straightforward until Kelly. Shoot his legs not his head and he will get stunned. You can kill him normally or melee shoot chain him like Bessie. I find that quicker.

*My advice on the Mansion yard is to honestly just headshot the hell out of everything with either the widowmaker or the oppressor. Scorpion in NG+ obviously. Bring molotovs so you can reset Annie and Jack's health if it's low going into part 2. Goodluck with this stage. You can Shotgun everything but I really don't recommend it. You can die very easily by getting shotgunned yourself.

*Inside the Mansion

Take the knife again and at the beginning go up the stairs and to the left. There's a table with a white cloth on it. Line yourself up with the white cloth and knife glitch downwards to clip through the door.

Now you'll have to exit this room to spawn the miniboss but go back into the room and kill everyone in it to progress. From here Headshot and shotgun everything until the end.

*For Griffon just Shotgun spam him and finish the run.

Goodluck

Xbox is now the most optimal version.

Just posting this so everyone interested in running will know that the Xbox Series S/X is the most optimal console to run the game. Xbox One is slightly slower and the 360/OG is only slightly faster than playstation consoles. BCPS3 is still untested.
