Has the speedrun should be played during a stream or you can just record it an upload when you want?

You do not need to stream the run, however it is preferred.

Preferably streamed, that away it avoids potential arguments between who won and what not. However if one records the run, and the other streams, and then a disagreement occurs for who the winner is, the win will most likely be given to the person with the best evidence of their run, which is a live stream.

We are most likely going to stream the semi and grand finals, so you will need to make sure you can stream in case you make it

I have no internet connection... but one question. The tournament consist in speedrunning the game multiple times, right? And also can you use glitches and skips?

Of course Luke, the category is NG+ Any%, meaning you can beat the game in any means nessecary, but you have to be in NG+ (Challenge Mode). And yes, each round of the tournament, you will play again, you are racing an opponent.

But if i have enough time i can try until i beat my opponent... is it allowed? Other question, what patch version should i use?

No resets allowed

Every match gets 3 resets if they can't get past Veldin. After that you'll have to continue even if you fail anytime during Veldin.

When is the deadline to join? I see on challonge that it's not starting til the 15th but wasn't sure if it had an earlier deadline.
