How to Downpatch Postal 4

This guide covers down-patching through Steam's built-in console, which can be used to access all previous versions of the game.

# Downpatching

**1.** Navigate to the Steam console by pressing Win+R and typing "steam://nav/console".


**2.** Enter the following commands for which version you are interested in running.

- For v1.0.7 (Pre-1.1.2 Full Game + Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday ILs):
download_depot 707030 707031 3000610258786513602

- For v1.0.4 (Pre-1.1.2 Tuesday IL):
download_depot 707030 707031 2828088025874155148
- For v1.1.2 (1.1.2+ Any%):
download_depot 707030 707031 162008922814635212

**3.** Be patient on the downloads, they'll likely be slower than a typical Steam download.


**4.** Now you can move on to the "Installing" section.

# Installing

- Once the download is complete, the old patch files will be in your Steam install folder under "steam\steamapps\content\app_707030\depot_707031"
- The game can be executed using "Postal4\Binaries\Win64\Postal4-Win64-Shipping.exe"

## Multiple Installed Patches

- If downloading multiple patches, the contents should be moved to a custom directory after each download (ie. F:\Games\Postal4_107)
