There are times when the meters at the bottom are important for getting a huge time save. Here are a description of what the meters do. The blue meter measures how you mimic the buttons given to you in a line. The first button is very important, and if you mess up the first one, the blue meter will go down and you will not get that many points/lose points. The orange meter measures how well your buttons are placed. The amount of buttons matter and you get a huge score boost for that. Make sure you hit it on the white dots or the orange meter goes down. The purple meter is my personal favorite. It measures the funky flow of your freestyle (that is, how many offbeat buttons you press late). It grants you a huge score boost if the purple meter goes up. Otherwise, you won’t get that much points. If you hit notes early or offbeats on the dots, the purple meter will not be affected. Tip: Hit the buttons late but not too late; it still needs to be to the music and it still needs to be on the points.
