So let's get this out of the way: yes, this category is a bit of a meme. That being said, there are only a few basics to consider when doing attempts of this game.

--Timing must be done via an external timer
This is standard for running most games, but here it is extremely important. For whatever reason, the game is coded to calculate time based on state or tick rate and not an actual measure of time. So, by uncapping your FPS or even disabling v-sync, the game time will go as fast or as slow as you want it to, including the in-game timer. For this reason, all attempts must have an external timer (probably WSplit or Livesplit) running and displayed.

--Runs shorter than two hours (2:00:00) will be rejected without further consideration
This time was derived from the current (at the time of writing) third place ranking on the leaderboard at 1:57:41. Given how the primary, and only, category for this is called Endurance%, there is no reason to accept submissions that are lower than this.
