I've always wanted to learn how to speedrun OoT with tutorials that are in depth. So if anyone knows of one link it below.
Hessing is a neat trick since it lets you move fast across different areas but you might want to learn superslides first too they are usually easier.
Look at this series if you're just looking to learn enough tricks to get started and complete a run.

OoT is a super easy game to speedrun cause every part of runs always has a casual strat! That's one of the main reasons why I picked it to run, the fact that even if I fail something hard there are so many backups and setups you can virtually ALWAYS finish the run.
If you are looking for a first category I would recommend either the Any% vids linked above or No IM/WW if you want a 1-2 hour run. No IM/WW Child: Adult:
