How to master Type%

Type% is a very complex category that requires immense skill. In this guide, I will teach you the methods I used to completely master it. In Type%, you must complete Oceania by typing the color of the words shown. The mouse is allowed, which makes for an interesting twist.

STEP 1 - Become good at typing
STEP 2 - Get the Type The Color Not The Word achievement
STEP 3 - Practice on Saturn
STEP 4 - Actually go to Oceania once you finish practice
STEP 5 - Grind until you receive 20 reds in a row
STEP 6 - Don't get any purples
STEP 7 - Obtain WR

Tips for Type%

Hey everyone, just thought I'd leave some quick advice here for those taking a shot at Type%

- Learning how to type without looking at your keyboard can greatly increase your efficiency as you won't have to waste time constantly looking back and forth between your monitor and keyboard.

- While this does not apply to the official Type% speedrun, I've discovered that by typing the color, you can bypass ANY mechanic like "Don't Switch" and "Inverted Controls".

- Always warm up before actually attempting your runs, this ensures that your muscles have memorized the sequence of buttonpresses for each word and avoids unneccesary typos.
