i got my run rejected in another game for moving before starting the video, does it apply here?

It probably would because start frame is first movement so I wouldn’t be surprised

i usually restart to the original checkpoint/nest thing and fix my character though

every game has different rules, but if your run starts before the video it will most likely not be accepted as it wouldnt be possible to know how long it took you to get to a certain point, however a run i saw didnt finish and a time penalty was added and could apply here
