I do have a disc, but that's not really a great reason to ban it, to be completely honest. Emulator, sure. But this particular release is official, not a ROM you just download and play on an inaccurate program on a PC.
VC is an emulator, albeit an official one. Upon the release of the VC version, the community immediately banned the platform due to this. The Wii U has the ability to run wii discs as well, so this really shouldn't cause much of a conflict.
It is pretty strange seeing a VC release get banned like this, but the fact that the disc itself isnt too expensive online and it can run on Wii U makes this acceptable imo.
