I wonder, is jumping/bhop make you move faster? I mean you got a little boost to speed while Falling or can keep momentum, or that not a thing here?

I don't think there's anything like this, at least in pc version. Main reason for full game runs having a lot of jumps is green color giving you speed and jumping guarantees you arent loosing it + accelerate a bit faster, but that's about it iirc.
