Agreed 100%. In my opinion, GOTVG should be banned across the boards, as well putting up emulator rules, such as no left + right, etc. Even if the left + right does nothing in a particular game, banning it globally on all NES games takes care of the possibility.

Nestopia should also be allowed. It's a solid emu that does not provide many of the cheating features of other emus (as far as I'm aware).

Perhaps banning specific emulators vs allowing specific ones would be better overall. Like, we know for a fact that GOTVG is terrible and should be banned. What others are there that should definitely be banned?
