PC Exploits, Glitches and Tips

This will be the PC version equivalent to the wii guide we still need to test so please post in the discord or forums if you find anything or if you have any question thank you, I hope you have fun running mysims.

**workshop tutorial page change**

On the first time you need to build some thing (during the tutorial build where the first page is normally locked) in the work shop you can click the key to change the page during the pop up scene before you have to build. Heattokun said the easiest way to do it is mash the page change key whilst also trying to click the arrow. I still need to make a compression video but for now it seems faster. (Found by and explained by Heattokun)

**Double input**

You can get through the text blocks faster by mashing Enter & Left mouse button at the same time. (Found by Heattokun)

**Fast walk**

As you are loading in to the overworld hold one of the diagonal running inputs while it is loading, and you will start moving at max speed rather than having to build it up (found by FoopJohnson)

Hit Menu and do the following inputs: V, B, Numpad 2, Numpad 8, Numpad 2, Numpad 8, Numpad 4, Numpad 4, Numpad 6, Numpad 6.

This will be just talking about stuff you can use in you'r runs and I will try to leave examples in the form of youtube videos or explanations, I hope you find this easy to understand and if you have any questions join the discord linked in the forums or ask your question in the forums thank you and I hope you have fun running mysims. 
(not all of these will work in the PC version like the speed glitch)

**Load first, then load again.**

To get faster loading times you have to first load up a game then let it load some loading screens then quit without going to the wii menu. Next click new game and your loading speeds will be faster. You can mostly tell you did this right if no tip pops up on the loading screen. (Rarewere mentioned this)

**Fastest language?**

English and Dutch are faster only having 10 pop ups at the beginning where as the others have more, French is the slowest (Seydie tested this)

**walking during text -houses-**

When a sim is talking to you, during there text you can slowly walk away from them if you mash the A button and hold a direction at the same time. (most people know this but nice to mention here)

**Speed glitch**

Just like the previous glitch you can walk but really fast when auto walk is meant to happen again just mash A and hold your stick in a direction don't worry if it doesn't work the first time after a while you get a hang of it. (used by LordHVetinari developed more by Seydie) You can do this even in auto walk scenes with no text boxes

Wii guide 1 star

Here is a 'detailed' guide how to run the 1 star town ?

TIP: Do a run casually, when the game didn't load the map yet and you just started up your Wii, it will be laggy and long loading screens. When doing a run before-hand, the loading screens will be faster and less laggy in the next run.

- Pass through the town and character creation, not changing anything.
- Talk to the Mayor
- Give Form to the Mayor
- Built your house (1 block, 1 door)

- Fertilize Apple tree
- Fertilize Yellow Blossom (4 Yellow Blossom essence)
- Fertilize Apple tree again (You should have 10 apples now, if not, reset run)

- Be nice to Mayor (or Poppy) (2 Happy essence)
- Talk to Mayor
- Built Workshop (1 block, 1 door, 1 hammer)
- Built table and place it in your house

- Talk to Mayor
- Workshop built Stage
- Place Stage at the Mayor's house

- Talk to Poppy at the Flower Shop
- Make Flower Stand and place it at Poppy's house
- Talk to Poppy again
- Make bed and place it

Congratulations! You just finished your first run ^^

The game has some RNG in it, Poppy and the Mayor could sit on a chair so it will take longer to interact with them.
It is also possible you only get 9 apples instead of 10.
