All Captains Route

A step-by-step walkthrough describing the route for All Captains. The five captains needed to complete this run are as followed: Mario, Peach, Yoshi, Donkey Kong and Wario. Once all 5 agree to be on your team, you then must defeat Bowser Jr and then finally Bowser. Timing starts when you start your story and ends when it says "That's the Game!" 

Route:	
1. Go to Mario Stadium			
2. Recruit Luigi			
3. Leave and go to Peach Ice Garden			
4. Talk to Toad			
5. Go to Toadette and do puzzle			
6. Keep going straight until you approach Blue Dry Bones			
7. Defeat Blue Dry Bones- (Hit the sweet spot)		
8. Talk to Toadsworth			
9. Go back to Toad 			
10. Defeat Hammer Bro- (Hit to right)		
11. Go back to Toadsworth and place statue down			
12. Go to Bowser Jr, where he is holding Peach captive		
13. Defeat Bowser Jr- (Comback from 1-0)
14. Leave and go to Yoshi Park			
15. Go to Shy Guy and beat minigame			
16. Go through pipe with Mario			
17. Go down towards manhole			
18. Defeat Red Magikoopa- (Dont drop the ball)		
19. After getting Yoshi, leave and go to DK Jungle			
20. Go to crate			
21. Follow DK to Dixie Kong			
22. Defeat Dark Bones- (Steal a HR)		
23. Go to exit sign for tablet piece			
24. Go back to Dixie Kong			
25. Prove your worth to DK- (Get an out)		
26. Leave and go to Wario City			
27. Help out Goomba by tracing the lights			
28. Go towards the lighthouse 			
29. Defeat Yellow Magikoopa- (Hit the sweet spot)		
30. Switch to DK and destroy crate near vine			
31. Climb up vine with DK and talk to Wario			
32. Leave but AVOID BOOMERANG BRO			
33. Switch to Mario as DK sucks as a captain 			
34. Play Bowser Jr			
35. Play Bowser

Any% Route

Mario Super Sluggers Speedrun
-----------------------------
So the main overall route of this game is very simple. You have 3 goals: recruit 8 team members, beat Bowser Jr., beat Bowser. You can get 7 team members right off the bat (no pun intended) in Mario Stadium. After that, the next fastest member to pick up is Toadette, so you go and get her. Then, it's 2 games, and then you're done. Exact route:
 
-Mash text, skip cutscene, enter Mario Stadium
-Recruit Luigi
-Walk directly south, recruit Blue Noki
-walk west, (go around the mole on the top, not the bottom), recruit Green Noki
-walk north to shell, recruit Red Noki
-walk towards lever, do Magikoopa mission
-pull lever (combination: left right right left right)
-walk west, recruit Baby Luigi
-walk to stadium, do Bowser Jr. mission, recruit Baby Mario, get Shop Key
-walk east to shop, unlock shop and recruit Pianta
-buy Power Bat from shop
-leave Mario Stadium
 
-go to Peach's Garden
-talk to Toad, follow him to Daisy statue
-walk west along bottom path to Toadette, talk to her
-complete mushroom puzzle, recruit Toadette
-leave Peach's garden
 
-go to Bowser Jr's Playroom
-put Pianta 3rd or 2nd in batting order
-switch Luigi and Pianta in the field
-make sure automatic fielding(or whatever its called) is on
-start game
-try and score in first inning, preferably a HR obviously
-once you score, bunt with everyone all the time
-when pitching, continuous uncharged fastballs slightly curved to the left
 
-fight Bowser
-equip Pianta with Power Bat, equip Mario with whatever item you get from the Bowser Jr. fight
-put Pianta second in batting order
-same batting/pitching strats as Bowser Jr.
-Bowser has a tendency to get HRs and ruin your day, so use Star Pitches on him if you need to
-Mercy rule Bowser by being 10 runs ahead of Bowser (Optimal)

Sammynorth's All Characters Guide

This is the route that I have started using to achieve all characters in as little time as possible
I will update it if I make any changes

Mario Stadium I
• Blue Noki – different swings
• Green Noki – charged pitches – leave Mario Stadium

Yoshi Park I
• Shy Guy Ferris Wheel – go down pipe and unplug nunchuck
• Magikoopa For Yoshi – different pitches – use shy guy
• Pink Yoshi – super dives
• Leave Yoshi Park

DK Jungle
• Dark Bones Encounter – Different pitches
• Get Tablet then DK Encounter – Get an out – Switch to Mario
• Climb down vines and do kritter encounter – hit to left – no nunchuck
• Second kritter encounter – Hit a sacrifice fly
• Baby DK encounter – buddy move
• Funky Kong Encounter – Charge Pitch Out
• Beat Bowser Jr.
• Kritter by pipe – double play
• Kritter by chest – Don’t let them score
• King K. Rool – Home Run – Funky or DK

Wario City
• Goomba
• Magikoopa – sweet spot hits
• Wario 
• Boo – laser throw – King K. Rool
• Waluigi – home run – King K. Rool
• Blue Boomerang bro – Buddy Move – Mario (gives chance for noki at second for ball dash out)
• Paragoomba – controller plugged in – ball dash

Peach Ice Garden
• Toadette Puzzle
• Purple toad – Bottom right bush – get three hits - Mario
• Dry Bones – Buddy Move - Mario
• Green Toad – Top left bush – Bunt x 3 - Mario
• Hammer Bro – Unplugged – get an out - Mario

• Blue toad -> baby daisy -> yellow toad – controller unplugged – sac fly – Mario

• Barrel Pianta – squeeze bunt - anyone
• Leave as DK

Bowser Jr’s Playroom
• Score one run then make outs as quick as possible by bunting
• Goal is to win game 1-0 

Bowser’s Castle I
• Score 10 runs in first inning then shutout Bowser’s team for a Mercy rule
• Alternatively, follow same strategy as done in Bowser Jr’s Playroom

Bowser’s Castle II
• The remaining 12 characters are locked behind beating bowser for a second time, so we need to repeat what we just did.
• After the cutscene plays, be sure to save and quit then reload the game.
• The strategy for Bowser 2 is the exact same, but mercy ruling him is much more difficult than before so the Bowser Jr. strategy would also work
• While setting your lineup you can make players "star" players by pressing 2 over them.  This makes them much better

Updated Any% Route

StrawberryMilk's any% route is an old one, and a faster route has been discovered. It is as follows:

-Mash text
-Get Luigi
-Walk down, get Blue Noki (use different swings)
-Walk up-left, get Green Noki (throw a charge pitch)
-Walk up, get Red Noki on the shell
-Exit Mario Stadium and go to Yoshi Park
-Get Shy Guy and Blue Shy Guy (ferris wheel)
-Exit Yoshi Park and go to Peach Ice Garden
-Get Toadette (mushroom puzzle)
-Walk up, get Green Toad from the upper-left bush (hit to center)
-Exit Peach Ice Garden and go to Bowser Jr's Playroom
-Score 1 run in the top of the 1st, then bunt through the rest of the game
-Mash text
-Enter Bowser Castle
-Score 10 runs in the top of the 1st to get mercy rule (though if you are a beginner, you can just score 1 and bunt like with the first game)
