Ver. 1.18 was newly updated version for emulators only since 2018. It was used exclusively in Japan. This version comes up with new tracks, such as Donkey Kong cup with 2 new courses. Also, the stopwatch was now displayed when the race has started, but it doesn't go on real time. Be sure to check your update on your emulator and start your engines!
