Sup, i was wondering what do you need to submit a run. i know that in some other mh, you could use a screenshot of the time of the quest at the end and i was wondering if we could do the same.
Also, if i cannot, do someone know how to post recorded video from xbox, i specially bough one for this game and i don't really know how to use and if its possible.
If it isnt possible, can i film the video i just recorded with a phone?
XBOX can record up to I think 10 minutes? you can hit the middle button then go to the recording options and select start recording (so long as whatever you're doing is under 10 minutes) and then after hit middle button and stop recording, if you're connected to xbox live your recording should upload to xboxdvr.com after a little bit (your xbox should notify you when it finishes uploading or you can go to Upload Manager to see what % it is at), there you can download it and post to youtube if you like or whatever video site you want to use
You should be able to set up with either twitch or youtube to stream/record directly to those services for runs through the console. Alternatively you can get a pc with an capture card and record that way as well. I do both methods depending on what kinda fuss I wanna deal with for setting up to record runs. Generally a video is better then a screen shot as you can learn more from that. Videos for most IL runs would be around 10 or 15 minutes anyways. For IL runs I set up either the console to output the recording for the attempt or I'll do it through my capture card which makes things easier but longer setup. Whatever works best for you and that works with the guidelines will do but should try for a video as it is much better proof and something to reference as well for self and others.

If all necessary information is given, then an image is fine, 240p phone quality is also fine under that circumstance.
but as @Tron_Javolta and @MASH pointed out, the XBOne & PS4 are capable of recording 10 and 60 minutes respectively. which should be fine for ILs - for longer stuff you'd want to grab a capture card or stream the stuff directly to twitch using the streaming feature of these consoles.
