Hello, I recently introduced myself in the main forum and after years of watching speedruns and picking up MH stories on release, i really want to run this game, unfortunately it seems rather inactive, with only one run from over a year ago. I was hoping for some tips anyone may already know about the game, and if anyone had idea for things to try.
Welcome :3 hmmm I can't really give tips yet because I only played the demo I need to get a little money but its been tough atm :) but I really wish you lots of luck I want to see another run soooo bad :)
As far as speedrunning is concerned, there isn't really anything other than that one run, sorry about that. But don't let a void of speedrun related informations keep you from running the game!
Thank you for the replies, i guess ill try figuring things out after doing one more slow playthrough, i managed to accidentally clip into the ground last night so i guess that means progress, i wish i could provide you with another run Melon but i currently have no way of recording my 3ds so it'll probably be awhile.
oh can you show off the ground clip? :) just use a camera ^^ as long as you can see the screen and hear music it should be fine :)
I absolutely will if i can recreate it, was just walking in perrenial pass and clipped close to an edge, ill give it a go tonight
I can't recreate it after a few hours of trying, i expect it'll be more useful once i'm back to having flying monsters and can actually do something other than fall straight down, best i can describe what happened the one time is i approached a small, jumpable edge from a very strange angle, and jumped down, but still through the wall. I also noticed the only run is only diablos%, which makes sense to me, without severe breaking and unsequencing i dont think any further catagory would be particularily possible
