Is changing render distance to 2 chunks allowed?
The rules state that if optifine is used pre-1.16, render distance must not be altered to anything that isn’t available in vanilla. However I am unfamiliar with vanilla settings.
What is the minimum render distance permitted by vanilla in 1.14?
the minimum is 2 and the maximum is 32, in around 1.8 or 1.7 (not sure which sub version), Minecraft added 18-32 render distance
Changing render distance while using vanilla mod is allowed...so I dont think changing it to 2 is gonna break any rule. But speedrun.com hasnt said anything abt it so I'm not sure.
