Someone told me about triangulation and I was wondering if I had to do the math myself or if using a triangulation calculator to do the work for me was allowed.

I asked Illumina about it one time and he said yes, but it would mean that your run comes under F3. I'm not a moderator here so I wouldn't know for sure though

calculators would need to be complicated enough that you'd need to look at the code to develop them before it's even questionable whether they're allowed. eye triangulation definitely is legal.

calculators are allowed, for now. just clarifying that you cant obtain the seed of your world though. a stronghold calculator would just get 2 angles and coordinates, and see where those lines cross. it wouldn't use a seed
