Hi, I recently came up with a strat for 1.16 speedrunning. I call it temple strats . you use the iron from the temple to craft a pick and a flint and steel. I'm 50% sure you can get buckets from the temple. you can also get stone from exploding the temple for blocks and an axe and shovel. there is also string in the chests you can get for beds. it is useful if you are in the desert and cant find a village. here is a video demonstrating it:

Um. Yeah. We've been doing this for a while. You didn't invent desert temples. And no. You can't get buckets from them.

diamonds and enchanted apples are the most valuable things you could get but those aren’t super common looting books could be useful if you can get one but you do need a lot of iron for that maybe shipwrecks and buried treasure could help with that but again, SUPER rare

temples are usually not super useful but if they’re close by they don’t really take too much time to loot so why not though it’s not really a “strat”, more of like a pit stop for gas before a long road trip tbh ... idk why that was the analogy I came up with but ok
