My friend just performed this on stream and we were wondering if this would make a glitchless run invalid or not, I think it could help a bit with locating the portal room but to me it seems too broken to be considered glitchless
well, depending... imagine you get accidentaly this lmao, that should be unfair in that make you to invalidate the run lmao and yeah, sometimes happend that so i dont think this should ban a glitchless one, is more like a visual bug, you just move the camera and dont do nothing more thats my opinion :) idk what the mods will say
Well considering you don't need to be in F5 in that tight of a space, we might ban it, but we'll see. Idk if we'll consider it a glitch or not and this will probably lead to 2 hours of arguing lol
well, it can be a bit subjective depending of the context if somebody is notable that is extremely abusing of this, should be banned, but you can accidentaly got it and it can be useless for you
meh, to tired to argue this for 2 hours lol lmao XD
I don't have a meaningful say in this. But stuff like this can happen in 1st person as well. You can just be running and the side of the screen disappears, which is tied to crosshair placement, I have experience with that form, but these things can be so random that I think these should be situational. Like if it provided vital knowledge or not. But I don't know, I'm really knew to speed running, and the culture.
We decided that this form of xray would be considered a glitch and as such would only be allowed in glitched runs
