So basically Anaru came up with this new set-up, and it is definitely faster than using a Jelly Blade, and probably faster than the laser sword too. It also removes the RNG factor of the Jelly Blade/Laser sword.

Set-up: Race: Scourgeling Hat: Bat Wing Companion: Gorgon eye Stats: HP - 6, Magic - 4. Traits: (Defensive +) Intelligent

How does it work? By using the zombie staff you get from the Scourgeling and using the gorgon eye as companion, you can spam it and summon tons of zombies. Zombies keep running against the boss and won't turn around. Because they keep hitting the boss really quick the boss will be killed in no time.

The RNG: First district -> 4/5/6 rooms. Can be a difference of 10-15 seconds. Village generation -> Some rooms are easier to maneuver in than others. Probably like 10 seconds in total. Scourge lair -> This room lay-out needs to start in a room where you have enough space to spam the zombie staff. Sometimes you can get a really large room with a lot of scourge masks (the floaty heads). These mobs should be avoided.

Use the correct set-up Use dash + jump to gain the most speed, be sure to release D while doing this Enter the first door, start mashing W Mash W until you reach the 4th district Go to the next door, mash W, stop at district 6 so you skip from village to village Keep repeating this until you reach district 18, go to the door Keep mashing W until you reach the scourge lair Make sure you have some space, then start spamming RMB to summon zombies, make sure they're actually hitting the scourge wall Dodge the projectiles, try to stay alive as long as possible

Extra:

• The zombies will continue to attack even after you die, so never give up!
• The version is 1.6
• You can try to use the bat wing instead of the wasp goggles. I haven't tested it yet, but it probably is faster. It definitely will be more difficult, though.
